Kurzweil 1000 Run Time Error 438

Problem

When you Open a file or select Save As from the file menu in Kurzweil 1000 application a message appears saying “Run Time Error 438 – Object Doesn’t Support this Property or Method.”

Solution

1. Open Kurzweil.
2. From the top menu, go to Settings -> Configuration.
3. Change the file dialog field from ‘Kurzweil 1000’ to ‘Common’ by clicking the up arrow.
4. Select OK.
5. Click Settings -> Save Settings.
6. Click OK.
