Fix Master Boot Record (MBR)

1. Run a command prompt from a Recovery Disc or Windows installation disc.
2. Type in the following (without quotes):
   “bootrec /fixmbr” and press Enter.
   “bootrec /fixboot” and press Enter.
   “bootrec /rebuildbcd” and press Enter.
3. Restart the computer.

This will not work on Windows XP or earlier.
