- Click the Start button.
- Right click or Computer (or My Computer) and click Properties.
- Windows XP users can ignore this step: On the left, click Advanced system settings.
- Then click the Advanced tab.
- Underneath where it says Performance, click Settings.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Click Change…
- Uncheck “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”
- Click on your main drive, then the ‘No paging file’ radio button and click Set.
- Then, click on a secondary drive and click the ‘System managed size’ button and click Set.
- Click OK and restart your computer.
