The application Finder can’t be opened. -10810

Problem

While using your Mac, you get the following error:

The Application Finder can’t be opened.

-10810

Solution

Try the following potential fixes:

• Disk Repair.
• Rebuild Launch Services
1. Click the magnifying glass in the top right to open the Spotlight.
2. Type in Terminal and press Enter.
3. Then copy and paste the following in to Terminal and press Enter:
4. /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed -rfv -all user, system, local
• Reinstall Mac OS X from the Install disc.
