Can’t connect to wireless network on Mac

Problem

Your Mac is unable to connect to a wireless network.
Other computers near you may be able to connect. You may also be able to connect by running Windows using Boot Camp.

Solution

Assuming you have made standard checks like trying with another computer and restarting your router, try the following:

  1. Go to your main hard drive, usually Macintosh HD
  2. Go to the Library Folder.
  3. Go to the Preferences Folder.
  4. Delete the SystemConfiguration folder.
  5. Restart the computer.
