How to open the Device Manager

Method 1

1. Click the Start button.
2. Right click on Computer (or My Computer) and click Manage.
3. On the left hand side, click Device Manager.

Method 2

(Not for Windows XP or earlier)

1. Click the Start button.
2. Type in Device Manager and press Enter.

Method 3

1. Click the Start button (Windows XP users should then click Run).
2. Type in “devmgmt.msc” and press Enter.
