Remove Black Hole RAT on Mac

Problem

Black Hole RAT is a Trojan (also known as Freeze RAT) for Mac that can allow someone to remotely control your computer with the ability to add and modify files, shut down and run shell scripts among other functions.

Solution

1. Go to the Applications folder.
2. Delete the JavaUpdater folder (drag it to the Trash).
3. At the top menu, click Finder, then Secure Empty Trash.
4. Repair Disk Permissions.
5. Restart the computer.
