To find out the serial number of your version of Dragon Naturally Speaking once it’s installed:
Option 1
- Open the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software.
- Click “Help” on the Dragon menu bar and click “About NaturallySpeaking…”
- The window that opens will contain details of Dragon NaturallySpeaking including your serial number.
Option 2
(if Dragon NaturallySpeaking will not load)
- Navigate to the folder where Dragon is installed which is usually one of the following:
- C:\Program Files\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking11
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Nuance\NaturallySpeaking11
(Folder name will vary based on your version.)
- Open the Ereg folder.
- Open the ereg.ini file (it is a text file).
- Look for a line beginning with Ser_Num=
The serial number will be written after it.

i need the serial # for when it asks me at the begining before i install it, so this might be a reason.

Nothing comes up when i copy and past the folder to find my serial number I have it installed and used it already it says i can use it two more times before I have to put in the serial number any suggestions

My old computer crashed. I am trying to install it into my new computer, but my daughter threw away the protective sleeve. I have the box and instructions, but no serial number. Is there anything I can do?
