Buttons do nothing on Canon LIDE Scanner

Problem

After your Canon LIDE scanner has been installed, the buttons on the scanner do nothing when pressed.

Solution

1. Go to the Applications folder.
2. Open Image Capture.
3. Right click (or ctrl + click) the scanner device (e.g. “Canon LiDE 700F”)
4. Click “Scanner Buttons”.
5. Set the scan selection to “MP Navigator”.
6. Click OK.
