Change your Network type (Public, Private, Work)

This article applies to Windows 7

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click on Network and Sharing Center (you may need to click Network and Internet first).
4. Under the “View your active networks” heading it will list your network name. Under that will be a blue link with your network type. Click on it to change it (see below).
