No Access sign on MindView folder

Problem

MindView 4 will not open. In the Applications folder, the MindView 4 folder has a red no access sign over it.

Solution

  1. Right click (or Ctrl + click) on the MindView folder and click Get Info.
  2. Expand the “Sharing & Permissions” section.
  3. In the bottom right, click the padlock icon.
  4. Enter your password if you have one and press Enter.
  5. Next to the name “everyone” it will say “No Access”. Change this to “Read only”.
  6. Close the Get Info window.
