JAWS asking to activate every time it’s opened

Problem

When you open JAWS, it will revert to a 40 minute trial mode and ask for you to activate. After activation or the next item it is opened, it still won’t be activated.

Solution

1. Locate a shortcut to JAWS, such as the one on your Desktop or Start Menu.
2. Right click on the shortcut and click “Run as administrator”.
3. Proceed with activating the software.

Next time you open JAWS, the software will still be activated.
