Problem
When you open an Office application you get a message appear saying that it quit unexpectedly.
Cause
A lot of people who get this error have actually moved the Word (or other) application file from the Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/ folder onto the desktop. This can cause the error as it’s looking for the related files in the same directory.
Solution
Make sure that the application file (not an alias) is placed in the Applications/Microsoft Office 2008/ folder.
