Reset Internet Explorer

In the event that your Internet Explorer is becoming slow, unresponsive and crashing then you should try resetting it.

  1. Make sure all Internet Explorer windows are closed.
  2. Click the Start button (Windows XP users should then click Run).
  3. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter.
  4. Click the Advanced Tab at the far end.
  5. Click “Reset…”
  6. Click the Reset button.
  7. Once all the items are checked off, click Close.
  8. Restart Internet Explorer.
