Problem
After resetting your password via the Mac OS X install disc you may get errors accessing the keychain. This is because the keychain is still using the old forgotten password.
Solution
- Click the magnifying glass in the top right of the screen.
- Type Keychain.
- Click on Keychain Access.
- When the program is open, click Keychain Access (top left of the screen) then Preferences.
- Click Reset My Default Keychain.
- Enter your current logon password (if any) then click OK.
