Problem
When installing Audio Notetaker 2.3 or earlier you get the following message:
“There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.”
Cause
This is caused by some Windows Updates (KB2507938 and KB2533623) which break the functionality of the licensing system used in the program and stop the program from loading up at all.
Solution
Download the latest version here: Audio Notetaker Updates.
After downloading the newest version I still get this error, tried the downloaded version and the version on disk (2.5.2962)
