You can find out what version of Boot Camp you have installed using one of the following methods:
- Using the System Tray:
- Find the Boot Camp icon in the system tray. This is usually the bottom right of the screen and you may need to click an arrow to expand all items. The icon is a black / grey diamond shape.
- Right click the icon and click “About Boot Camp”. It should display the version number.
- Using Windows Explorer:
- Go to the C:\Program Files\Boot Camp folder
- If that folder doesn’t exist, try C:\Program Files (x86)\Boot Camp
- Right click on the “Bootcamp” file and click Properties.
- Click the Details tab.
- Look for the version number next to “Product version”.
