Problem
When using the Vocabulary Training feature in Dragon Dictate, the application crashes when choosing a Word document.
Solution
At the time of writing, Dragon Dictate will give this error if you open a .docx file. Nuance are currently working on an update.
As a workaround, do the following:
- Open your Word document.
- Click File -> Save As.
- Change the format to “Word Document 97-2004 (.doc)”.
Dictate will also accept .rtf files.
Unfortunately, changing the file to .doc as suggested does not eliminate this problem.
What else can be done to rectify this problem?
Does it do it if you are using an rtf file?
