Could not load file or assembly ‘MOM.Implementation’ or its dependencies.


When starting your system you may experience the following error:

“Could not load file or assembly ‘MOM.Implementation’ or its dependencies.”


This is caused when some file are missing or corrupt within AMD/ATI graphics driver.


  1. Uninstall AMD/ATI catalyst centre and drivers.
    1. Computer -> Uninstall or change a program.
    2. Find ATI Catalyst center.
    3. Click remove.
  2. Remove any files left behind from the uninstall.
  3. Reboot.
  4. Download and install the latest driver from
  5. Reboot.


  1. I used the Automatically Detect & Install link on the amd site. I didn’t uninstall first but did determine my card was a 4350 HD. Not sure if this will work for everyone but it worked for me.
