Olympus Sonority not allowing comments on files

Problem

You cannot edit  the comments field in Olympus Sonority. Right clicking shows the Edit Comment option in grey and non selectable.  This also affects the icon for edit comment on the toolbar as well as navigating to it from the top menu (Tools -> Edit Comment).

Solution

This is a workaround. No permanent fix is currently available.

1. Right click on the file you want to edit the comment of and click Convert.
2. On the pop up screen select the file format. (usually WAV or WMV)
3. If you wish to delete the original file on the computer then check the box.
4. Click OK.

You will now be able to right click the file and click edit comment.
