Set Default Web Browser on Mac

To set your default web browser: Open Safari. On the top menu click Safari, then Preferences. Click the General button at the top. Change the first option, “Default web browser” to your preferred browser.

Safari Error -600

Problem When you open Safari on Mac OS X, you get an error message with Error -600. Solution Click on the Spotlight magnifying glass in the top right (or press cmd + Space). Type Firefox and press Enter. In the Firefox browser go to http://www.apple.com/safari/download/. Download and install the latest version of Safari.

Disable Automatic File Opening in Safari
