Troubleshooting USB Microphones in Parallels

Problem

Parallels Desktop may not detect your USB microphone or may have issues with recording.

Solution

1. Quit Parallels Desktop.
2. Click the Apple icon in the top left.
3. Click System Preferences.
4. Click Sound.
5. Set your USB microphone as the default input in Sound.

If there is crackling or clipped input, then adjust the input volume in the Sound system preferences.
