Scanning in Read & Write Gold produces a blank page

Problem

When you scan in Texthelp Read & Write Gold, rather than the actual document being scanned it is just a blank page.

Solution

1. On the Texthelp toolbar, click the dropdown next to the Scanner button.
2. Click Scanning Options.
3. Uncheck the “Hide the scanner configuration dialogs” box.
4. Click OK.
