NetUpdate says your subscription has expired


NetUpdate won’t let you install any updates and shows an exclamation mark next to some items stating your Intego subscription has expired when it hasn’t.


  1. Open VirusBarrier X6 (or whatever version you are using).
  2. Click VirusBarrier X6 in the top left and click De-Authorize this computer.
  3. It will ask you if you are sure. Confirm this. The problem will now close.
  4. Re-open the program and enter your Name and Serial Number.
  5. Now try NetUpdate again.
