Unable to log into secure websites on Mac

Problem

With Intego VirusBarrier installed, you are unable to log into any Website with a user name and password on any browser. This may include websites such as Facebook.

Cause

Intego VirusBarrier cookie filters are turned on.  This stops certain information being transmitted.

Solution

To disable the cookie filter in VirusBarrier, do the following:

1. Click the castle icon in the top right of the screen (near the time).
2. Go to the VirusBarrier x6 menu and uncheck the option for cookie filter.
3. Restart your browser.
