- Click the Apple icon in the top left of the screen.
- Click System Preferences.
- Click on “Users & Groups” or “Accounts”, found under the System heading.
- Click the padlock icon in the bottom left to unlock it.
- Enter your password (if you have one), then press Enter.
- Above the padlock, click the + button.
- If you want the new account to be an admin, change the first dropdown from “Standard” to “Administrator”.
- Enter a new name in the Full Name field. The Account name below will put itself in automatically.
- If you wish to, enter a password in twice with a hint.
- Click the “Create Account” button.
- If you did not enter a password a message will appear, click OK.
If you wish to delete an account in future you can do so by clicking on the account on the left followed by clicking the – button.
