Install Java for Mac OS X Lion

Problem
You need to install Java for Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) and may have seen the following error when opening an application:

“To open [Application Name], you need to install a Java runtime, but you are not connected to the Internet.
To install a Java runtime later, open [Application Name] again.”

Solution

Download Java for OSX Lion.

If you do not have an internet connection then download it from a computer that does. Then transfer the file to your Mac and run it from there.
