Problem
When trying to define a word in Word 2013 you get the error massage: “Sorry, there are no dictionaries available for this language”
Cause
Word 2013 does not have a dictionary installed by default.
Solution
Install a third party dictionary from the Microsoft store; you can do this by following the instructions below:
- Open Word 2013
- Click Insert
- Click Store
- Search for “Word Dictionary” in the search box
- Chose an appropriate dictionary software
- Install the dictionary software
