Keyboard not working – Windows 10

Problem:
Keyboard working fine. After restarting and updating your machine the keyboard no longer functions on your Device.

Cause:
Keyboard driver is not the default windows PS2 driver. This can sometime result from a windows or manufacturer update.

Solution:

1. Right click “PC”
2. Click “Manage”
3. Click “Device Manager”
4. Click the arrow next to “Keyboard”
5. You may see the Keyboard with an exclamation mark next to it. If so Right click the Keyboard device.
6. Click “Uninstall”
7. If a checkbox appears stating “delete Device driver software” tick this ox.
8. Close all open dialogue boxes
9. Restart window.

Upon restarting windows the keyboard will start functioning.
