How to Reset Firefox

PC Solution

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click All Programs.
3. Expand the Mozilla Firefox folder.
4. Open “Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)
5. Check all the boxes except the third option “Delete all bookmarks except for backups”.
6. Click “Make Changes & Restart”.

If the shortcut is not there in the Start Menu:

1. Press the Windows Key + R.
2. Copy all of the text in the appropriate box below:
• 32-bit users:
  "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode
• 64-bit users:
  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode
3. Right click in the Run input box and click Paste.
4. Press Enter.

Mac Solution

1. Make sure the Firefox icon is on the dock.
2. Hold down the Alt/Option key and click on the icon.
3. Check all the boxes except the third option “Delete all bookmarks except for backups”.
4. Click “Make Changes & Restart”.
