Problem When you open an Office application on your Mac it says “[Application] encountered a problem and needs to close”. Solution Go to your Home folder. Go to the Library folder. Go to the Preferences folder. Error 25004 during Microsoft Office install

Problem When installing Microsoft Office, you get the error 25004 and the install does not complete. Solution Download and install the Windows Install Cleaner. Once installed, run the program from the Start Menu. Remove all the entries related to Microsoft Office and close the program. You can now try installing Microsoft Office again.
