Make Safari open all new windows in Tabs

Open Safari. Go to the Preferences window: PC Users: Press the Alt key to show the top menu. Click Edit then Preferences. Mac Users: On the top menu, click Safari then Preferences. Click the Tabs button at the top. Change the dropdown to Always. Close Preferences.

Finder won’t open a window when clicking Dock icon

Problem Nothing happens when you click the Finder icon on the Dock. Normally it will open a new window if you have don’t have any open already. Solution Click the Apple icon in the top left of the screen, Click Force Quit. In the list, click Finder. Click the Relaunch button.

Set Default Web Browser on Mac

To set your default web browser: Open Safari. On the top menu click Safari, then Preferences. Click the General button at the top. Change the first option, “Default web browser” to your preferred browser.
