Scanner not detected or freezes during scan in Read & Write Gold

Problem

When scanning in Read & Write Gold, it may hang on a certain percentage of scanning or say that no scanners are detected.

Solution

  1. On the Read & Write toolbar, click the Scan drop down and click on Scanning Options.
  2. Make sure the correct scanner is selected and uncheck the ‘Hide scanner configuration dialogs’ box.
  3. Click OK.
