No sound being recorded from Plantronics headset

Problem
Your Plantronics headset is being recognised in Windows but is not recording sound from the microphone.

Solution

1. Open Device Manager.
2. Find the Plantronics headset in the list. It may show a yellow exclamation mark.
3. Right click it and click Uninstall.
4. Right click anywhere in the Device Manager and select “Scan for hardware changes”.
