Show Hard Drives on Mac Desktop

  1. In the Dock, click the Finder icon (smiley face).
  2. Click Finder (in the top left of the screen).
  3. Click Preferences.
  4. Click the General tab if it isn’t already selected.
  5. Check the “Hard disks” option and any others that you wish to see appear.
