OpticBook 3800 not installing correctly

Problem

Your OpticBook 3800 scanner is not being detected in Windows and may not appear to have a driver installed in Device Manager.

Solution

1. Unplug and turn off the scanner.
2. Download the following driver:
   http://downloads.plustek.com/downloads/english/driver/B6F-V4011_12L.zip
3. Extract the zip file and run the Install file.
4. If already installed, it will prompt you to uninstall. Proceed and it should restart your computer when it’s done.
5. Once the computer has restarted, run the Install file again and restart again once it has finished.
