Dragon Dictate 3 automatically punctuates

Problem Dragon Dictate 3 automatically punctuates without user stating punctuation. Cause This seems to be a default setting for Dragon Dictate 3. Solution With application open: click On ‘Dictate’ on the top menu then click on ‘Preferences’ Then select ‘Recognition’  Then un-check the “Show Smart Format rules” check-box. And this should then solve the issue.
