Problem When opening a word document is says it cannot open it as the file is corrupted. Solution Go to RepairMyWord.com. Download the free program and run it. Click on Open/Repair to load the word file that is corrupted. Click Save and choose a filename. The file will now open in Word.

ClaroRead showing OCR Upside Down
Problem When scanning books into ClaroRead, they appear upside down and the OCR is unable to read it. Solution This issue has been fixed in an update. You will need to update ClaroRead.
Problems playing DVDs or Video files

Missing icons on Desktop
This article applies to Windows XP. Problem One or more of the default icons are missing from your Desktop such as My Computer, My Docuemnts or Internet Explorer. Solution Right click on the Desktop and click Properties. Click on the Desktop tab. Click Customize Desktop. Check the icons you want to appear and Click OK.
