Error 1712 when installing a program

Problem When you are installing a program, a message comes up stating Error 1712. Solution Sometimes when installing, it requires that a previous installation have finished. Make sure nothing else is currently being installed, try restarting the computer and installing again. This can also happen after having installed or uninstalled something which required a restart.

ReadIris won’t scan using ClaroRead for Mac

Problem When using ClaroRead for Mac, ReadIris will load but won’t scan anything. Solution Make sure the scanner is set in the ClaroRead and ReadIris preferences. If that doesn’t work, then try running ReadIris in 32bit and running updates.
