Problem In Abbyy FineReader, when you scan you get the following error: “Fatal Scanner error” Solution Click Tools -> Options. Click the Scan/Open tab. Under the Scanner heading, select the “Use native interface” option. Click OK.
ClaroRead problems scanning to Word
Problem When scanning from ClaroRead to Word, you experience one of the following: Microsoft Word doesn’t open Microsoft Word does open, but ClaroRead will not read the text. Solution Reset Claro AppData and try scanning again.
"Please install MSXML 40" when scanning
Problem When using your scanner you receive the message “Please install MSXML 40”. Solution Go to the MSXML download page. Download the “msxml.msi” file.
Problem with MP270 not scanning
Problem When trying to scan using the MP270 on Mac OS X, nothing happens or the program closes. Solution Download and install the latest version of MP Navigator EX. Run the MP Navigator EX application to test the scan, then try scanning in the program you originally experienced the error in.
