ClaroRead crashes when setting a scanner to use ReadIris
Problem When setting up a scanner to use ReadIris in ClaroRead it crashes. Solution Make sure ClaroRead and ReadIris are fully closed. When scanning to Readiris the program just quits
Problem When you try to scan from ReadIris, the program exits. Solution Close all programs. Go to your home folder. From there, go to Library/Preferences/ and move the ‘ReadIris 11 Prefs’ folder to the Trash. Then try scanning again.
Scanner not detected in ReadIris 12
This fix was used whilst troubleshooting an OpticBook 3600 scanner but should work for problems with other scanners. Go to the Applications folder. Open the Readiris folder. Problem When you scan in ClaroRead you get the error “the file could not be found”. Solution Update ClaroRead to the latest version.
